10:00 AM — Finding Purpose: The Power of Connection in a Polarized (& Lonely) World
Leigh Morgan, Aaron Hurst, & Shelly Kurtz
In an era marked by isolation, loneliness, and division, connection has never been more essential or more powerful. This session explores how purpose can serve as the antidote to fragmentation, inspiring a new kind of “mesh network” that links people, ideas, and communities across geographies. Together, we’ll discuss how location-based movements can turn individual sparks into collective transformation, and how Seattle can emerge as the Purpose Capital of the World.

Dana Frank, Toussaint Bailey, & Carolyn Paola

11:30 AM — The Tensions of Purpose
Kenji López-Alt & Katherine Cheng
Our world celebrates growth — more followers, more clicks, more profit — but this Summit invites us to pause and ask: At what point is more actually less? Kenji López-Alt has built a career that millions trust — chef, author, journalist, teacher, musician, experimenter — but underneath all that is a constant curiosity about meaning: Why we cook, how we connect, and what’s really enough.

Crew members, these circles are designed to empower participants to present ideas, connect with purpose-driven peers, and generate meaningful momentum towards a sustained (Re)Purpose movement.
